Saints and Their Birth Order (Surprising)

Saint Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus

Here are the birth orders of some of the world's greatest Christians:
  • St. Thérèse de Lisieux - Doctor of the Church (ninth child)
  • St. Ignatius Loyola - founder of the Jesuits (eleventh)
  • St. Francis Xavier - perhaps the greatest missionary (thirteenth)
  • St. Catherine of Siena - Doctor of the Church (twenty-fourth)
God bless their mothers and fathers!

Godspeed,
Taylor

PS: I once read somewhere that in the early 1900s, "fourth born sons" were the most common within the Catholics priesthood. That is, there were more fourth sons than any other (e.g. more than first-born sons or second-born sons, etc.).
